What is an Ignition Interlock Limited License?

An ignition interlock is an electronic device installed into your vehicle which the driver must blow into, that analyzes the blood alcohol level of the driver to prevent a vehicle from starting if the driver is inebriated.

Ignition interlocks are used as an alternative to revoking a driver's license. Interlocks are installed on the owner's vehicle after they have been convicted of a DUI. For example, it allows the driver to still travel to necessary obligations like school and work.
